Starting a New Life!

Happy 2013!  I truly believe that success begins with one step and there is no better step that you can take this new year than to make small changes in your health. The world is filled with so many toxins. These toxins are in our houses, cleaning products, hair products, makeup—you name it! Its no wonder that so many people have multi chemical sensitivity.

Our goal together is to make some changes that can better your health and life. For example, if you are going to the store to buy detergent instead of buying Tide which is loaded with chemicals and can seep into your clothing, there are a series of products that are free of chemicals that you can use instead.

Regular water:  Change and buy a water filter (this will save you money in the end). There are many water filters out there. The best ones are the ones that are PH regulated.

Blender:  This is great to make smoothies and will ultimately become your best friend on your way back to health.

Juicer:  This is fantastic to have. If you are trying to save money I always tell clients they can use a Blender and then use a mesh bag to squeeze some of the pulp. What a great way to make cold-pressed juices at home!

Perfume:  Try replacing your perfume with natural oils.

Make-up:  Try replacing your make-up with natural make-up. One brand which I love and have used for years is Jane Iresdale!

Toothpaste:  Try replacing your toothpaste with natural toothpaste. Toms of maine is great as well as Oxygene.

Nail Polish:  Try replacing your nail polish with one that is free of chemicals and non-toxic Cookingware-a great thing you can do this new years is throw out all your teflon sets and get an Iron cast cookingware or stainless steel. This is a great way to boost your immune system and protect yourself.

Breads/Gluten:  Instead of breads and gluten, try eating Corn, Potatoes or Rice. There are so many options when one chooses to go gluten free!
